Certifications Modules

We offer a wide variety of high-quality fabrics that are certified to satisfy unique project specifications.

GREENGUARD

Chemical exposure occurs through the air we breathe in our homes, offices, schools and other indoor environments. These airborne chemicals are commonly referred to as volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The GREENGUARD Gold Certification standard includes health-based criteria for chemical emissions to ensure products are acceptable for use in environments like schools and healthcare facilities.

Products with GREENGUARD or GREENGUARD Gold Certification can contribute to the achievement of points in established green building rating systems, such as LEED, BREEAM, and Fitwel. GREENGUARD products also satisfy indoor air quality RFP requirements.

Cradle to Cradle

Cradle to Cradle is a globally recognized measure of product sustainability. To receive certification, products are assessed for environmental and social performance across five critical categories: material health, material reuse, renewable energy and carbon management, water stewardship, and social fairness. A product is assigned an achievement level (Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) for each category. A product’s lowest category achievement represents its overall certification level.

NFPA 701

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is a global nonprofit devoted to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical, and related hazards. NFPA 701 is the standard that establishes test methods for the assessment of flame propagation in various textiles. Fabrics that pass NFPA 701 satisfy most RFP requirements for flame retardant fabric.

Antimicrobial

Antimicrobial fabrics have been certified by third party organizations such as ASTM International, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, and the Aitex Textile Technological Institute to effectively inhibit bacterial and fungal growth.
